Boon Tong Kee MOA

BFF's night out again....as usual, we had to go around the city deciding where to eat. After an hour of driving around we ended up at MOA. Again another dilemna, with all the restaurants around us, where do we eat ^^...then we passed by Boon Tong Kee, we decided to try it out. Since it's a singaporean franchise the first that you would think of is Hainanese chicken & the ever delicious chicken rice. There were 2 kinds of chicken on the menu, their signature boiled chicken & the roasted one. We tried the boiled chicken & it's quite good. The chicken rice lacks flavor though & the serving size was small, plating was unique though, rice was served shaped like a pyramid... As for the other dishes we ordered, we find them all quite satisfying, especially the soup, the combination of eggs & spinach give it a subtle flavor. Overall, we left the place full & satisfied. Next dilemna, where to drink coffee ^^.

Deep Fried Stuffed Fritters (sauce is really a killer- wasabi w/ mayo)

Braised Peanuts

Signature Boiled Chicken

Poached Chinese Spinach w/ Assorted Eggs

Coffee Pork Ribs

Yabu House of Katsu MOA

We actually discovered this restaurant at Robinson's Magnolia but the place is always full it's hard to get seats. We visited the place twice but we had to retreat, we're too hungry to wait. But then alas, their branch in MOA opened, we just had to try it. It's always been a notion to us, if it's always full then the food must be really good. We were not disapointed afterall, it was really good. We ordered the set katsus which was served with miso soup, refillable cabbage salad (you need to mix a special dressing which I really liked), unlimited rice, & fruits. We're going back next time, still have a lot to try from their menu ^^. By the way, the place is really cool, nice interior ^^.
